Ebook Vs Hard Book | Which is better?

Reading is a hobby which is packed with multiple benefits. And just like everything else around us has evolved, reading sources have also changed drastically. From clay, leather, leaf, paper to electronic pages now; it has definitely taken unique forms. But where the new forms behold the benefits of its own, the conventional methods still contain their distinguished charm.

Reading from computer screen is very different than reading from a book. The hard books can be felt through senses, while soft copies can't be felt except the words written in them (definitely the words matter the most, but the feeling of holding a book, being able to annotate and highlight whenever something touches you, enhances the fun)

So which is better? Hard Copy or PDF form?
Ebooks Vs Books

Well, let's consider the pros and cons of both first.

Hard form: The feeling of holding a book in hands, being able to annotate whenever you need, physically highlighting the words leaves a magical impact. But it may not be much convenient medium because, despite all the charm, you can't take it everywhere with you, if speaking practically. And even if you think you can, you would still be limited to one or at most two books. While the case can be different for electronic sources.

Soft form: Obviously many spell bounding feelings would be missed - but words are what weighs more in the end. Plus, you can even get international books which might not available in your region, and that too, for free! So we can say that it has a margin. Furthermore, as your phone is with you all the time. You take it with you wherever you go - which means you can have access to e-books, despite place and time. You don't need to worry more about carrying heavy books.

Meanwhile, both has their own pros and cons. Meanwhile, I personally prefer hard copy more, but due to globalization and easy access to content from around the world, I also occasionally read e-books when I don't have access to hardbooks; during travelling and when I am not in mood to carry much stuff or simply short on budget. In short, whenever I need to. So it should really not be about which one, instead when what.

So enjoy reading whatever you can get your hands on.
And don't worry about the source, because content is all what matters in the end!
Happy Reading!
