New Year, New me?

    New year, New me

You may have heard this a trillions of times before, and especially these days when we are entering into a new decade. But, don’t you find it a little weird? Like, people say it as if new year is a magician who’s gonna whirl his wand and every misery will settle on its own. I guess, these are Hogwarts inspired people who are waiting for their Harry potter to rescue them of their miseries.

But, unfortunately, it isn’t going to happen. And even the Hogwarts story teaches us a lesson that even the mesmerizing magic spells with unlimited powers must be learned through hard work, followed by series of practice sessions. What I mean here is that how can just a slight change in numbers can change your life when you are still going to practice same things?
So, you must understand what exactly you need to change about yourself first, and then ask yourself the reason for that change.
Let me try to explain it in simple words, only just writing down the next year goals and displaying them in front of you isn’t enough. You also need to ask yourself the most important question and that is, WHY? You need to understand clearly what you want to achieve and why.

But realistically, only understanding the reason isn’t also enough to overcome the hurdle you may face in accomplishing them. Now the question arises, how to face those challenges coming your way. As unfortunately, those magic spells won’t help outside your fantasy. For reality, you must learn the real life based spells which can magically change your perception about life and all the struggles. We on daily basis witness people who started from scratches and still have achieved greatest things. Observing them, there are a few things you must stop doing this year to ensure your success and achieve that inner satisfaction. First of all, stop feeding your inner villain! Yes, the Villain! I am talking about that inner voice who keeps reminding you of how unworthy you are for that opportunity or the love of your life and who always leave you doubtful about yourself. Well, I guess we all familiar with that little envious voice which we have mistakenly believed to be ours closest friend. And more horribly, as our conscience. But let me enlighten with whatever little I have in my knowledge, Conscience is a lot different than that villain and we should leave the difference between the two for another day, but always keep that in your mind that conscience always remind you of how worthy you are and how this action can impact you while that villain always tells you that you are nothing more than a loser who can’t get that. See? There’s a lot difference between the two.
And just imagine the difference between the impact of both.

Furthermore, you are always told to work on your weaknesses like as a child, I was forced to do mathematics more frequently than science as I was very weak in mathematics. So, I was made to spend less time on my strengths and more on my weaknesses. Similarly, I believe you are taught to do the same. But when you actually do that, it can lead you to the indulge in complexes and frustration as working on something you love is always more productive and enjoyable than doing something you hate. So, instead of focusing on your weaknesses, and then planning to improve them only to face the disappointment and frustration, it is better and more worth it to realize your strength and become a pro at it. This will not only boost your confidence but will also lift your, mood and most importantly, your income. Moreover, living in the world where almost every field is saturated, it is not a piece of cake to stand out which I think is only possible with your own style which is unique automatically, because it is yours and no one else’s. So do things in your own way and don’t try to follow others footsteps. Here comes another difference,
getting inspired is peculiar than mimicking others which only makes you another they but never true you. While, inspiration always motivates you enough to express yourself fully and work hard to become the best version of yourself. We all do this mistake, whenever we see someone becoming successful and wining at anything, the first thing which comes to our mind is, “I need to do it as well”. But we forget that it’s their peculiarity and we must have our own. And, instead of discovering our own strengths, we spend our life in learning other's strengths and only to end up miserable.
So, this year decide to be true you. Take a decision to prioritize yourself and do what you feel is good for yourself and your growth. Meanwhile, take advises from others as people can guide you but, you and only YOU! know your real potential and real power. So, don't worry if they can't see that spark in you, it's their blindness and their loss. Don't let anyone put you down. But always remember that there is also a very fine line between self-love and over confidence. So this year, just remember these simple rules, be true you and get ready to achieve your dreams.

"Be the true you and prepare to achieve your dreams"
